I want straight hair, but my hair is naturally wavy..is there a way to keep it straight?

i straighten it almost every morning (unless im too tired or just too lazy) but it gets really annoying to do it every single morning. ive tried relaxing it TWICE. but it just goes back to wavy...also its rainy down here nowadays in california, and when i straighten my hair it gets really frizzy and wavy again. is there a way to get it straight all the time? maybe a VERY good shampoo/conditioner? (i mean very good, i try alot of things but none of them work.)

This probably wont help too much, but I had a friend who had her hair "permanently" straightened. It lasted about 3 months and cost about $300. Maybe ask your hair stylist about it?

well i do the same thing but i think u shud ask a hair stylist. if u want my recommendation, sunsilk.i only use sunsilk shampoos from asian stores. my conditioner is the purple one. my hair is straight at the back and wavy at front. its help alot when i put it on after i take a shower.

You can have a 'straight-perm' at salons. Depending on how long your hair is, it ranges from $100-$200. And be prepared to be at shop for at least 3hrs! It's worth it....saves you time and energy every morning. Even with ceramic flat irons, your hair will be damaged.

I can recommend some salons in SF if that's close to where you're at.

i have the same promblem but my hair is naturally really poofy and frizzy i either starighten it everyday or put moose in it and scrunch it. if your tired of straightening your hair why dont you just leave it the way it is. you should go see a hairstylist and get it pemantely straighten.

Ok, you need to get you some smoothing Redken poo and some herbal essences condish. Brush it alot everyday use detangling spray. Put it on before you take a shower and wash it out. Get a straightner to if you need it. My grandmother has her beautiton license, so she'd probaly get the conair ones. They work good. Exspeacially the new ones. HOPE THIS HELPS!

i know what you mean. i have curly hair and when i straighten it, it used to always get frizzy. you need to get the stuff called frizz ease.. in a purple bottle. you put in on pretty much right after you get out of the shower. they say use a little but use your judgement on how much hair you have. my hair is long and i use about 6 squirts. hope this helped
