How can I get my hair wavy like this??

I have blonde hair that goes about an inch or 2 below my shoulders and I was like beachy waves. But whever i try using a curling iron my hair ends up in tight ringlets and one side is always goint the wrong direction. How can I get my hair like this? :

put mousse in ur hair before you goto sleep and braid a bunch of little braids, tie them with bands dont start at the top make them a little loose, then when you wake up spray some spritz on and untie ur hair, then run ur fingers through it

use a thick curler and curl it but space your hair out on the curling iron and dont rap your hair all the way around the iron then pull the curlz apart
