Dont do it, you will regret it. I cut my hair a year ago and I miss it so much. While the sudden change might be nice, its not worth it, think of how long it will take to grow it back if you do not like it. All I know is whenever I see my friends playing with their long hair I wish I could do the same. Try getting some high lights or low lights to add defintion and maybe some angles and layers.

I have long hair and it's semi hard to manage and maintain. So i understand how you may want it shorter. Take into consideration all the different hairstyles you can do with long hair vs short. If you don't have any styles or find doing them complicated google it. There are a lot of sites and sources that will guide you step by step through how to get the look. If you still want to try a bob, if you end up not liking it the great thing is that your hair will grow back, it'll just take time. However, there is the ugly transition stage between short and long hair. I personally will not cut my hair ever again.
