I HAVE TRIED STRAIGHTING MY HAIR BUT IT ALWAYS ENDS UP WAVY.MY COUSINS HAIR CAN GET EASILY STRAIGHT BUT MINES WONT WHY IS THAT. ALSO I WOULD LIKE SOME HAIR STYLES TO DO WHEN I STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR.HELP ASAP

Try doing it in more, smaller layers. And try a straightening serum to put on your hair before straightening. It works well. If that doesn't help, try buying a new straightner, Or if yours has different level settings, put it on the highest one.

What kind of straightener do you have? If you have a nice one, which usually costs about 50 bucks, it should be working good. Try buying shampoos and styling products to help achieve straight hair. I like Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight collection.

get a better iron..or blow dry it...it will make it frizzy at first but after a while it will calm down and be as flat as can be.

GET ANOTHER FLAT IRON

lol trust me , it makes a huge difference..

A good hair straightener you could try is a Chi, but its REALLY expensive-- like $130. They work so good though because I have the same problem, my hair flips out at the bottom! But my mom had a Chi and it made it pretty much perfectly straight.

o my goodness I have the same problem. I suggjest you go to the hair dresser %26amp; ask her and or him to subscribe some conditioner that straightens hair then straighten it after. Or get a new straightener that has extra strength

Try smaller sections of hair...the larger the section of hair, the harder it is to straighten it. It's also possible that the heat setting is not high enough. A good straightening iron is going to have multiple heat settings. The more coarse your hair is the higher you need the heat setting. Can't help you with hairstyles though...I would say leave it down.

Don't compare your hair to someone else's hair. You can't change your hair thickness or texture; it's natural, so you have to just deal with it. Don't complain.

Use a shampoo and conditioner that encourages straight hair (Herbal Essences Pin Straight, for example.) Blow dry your hair and section it before you use the flat iron. Spray in a little hair spray afterwards.

If that doesn't work, you can always go to the salon and get your hair chemically straightened. It's risky, though. It can cause your hair to fall out, become brittle, become thin, etc.

Hmm....well it really depends on the straightner you are using. Invest in a GHD straightner...trust me it works wonders..you'll never have wavy hair again! :)

I have extremely porous thick curly hair and i straighten it a lot i would use products by Chi and also get there straightener its absolutely amazing and u could always blow dry ur hair first it might take a little bit longer but it'll get ur hair straight

Herbal Essance Dangerously Straight works also Garnier Frucits Sleek and Shine works for my hair which is really curly. Get a good straightener I would recommend Sedu, GHD, and Paul Mitchell but those are rather expensive ($90-200) there are cheaper ones you can go to Sally beauty supplies to get a good one. When you straighten your hair straighten it by layers becuase the smaller pieces you have the straightener and frizzless it will come out. Also, use shine or hair spray in the end so it will stay straight.
