Finger comb them gently and use a product to get frizz away. Skipping conditioner when you plan to have your hair down weighs it down less so it may help

put some styling foam in it right after washing and use a diffuser when you blow-dry your hair. It really works!

I like using spray gel on my hair before I blow dry it. I also use oil that "fights frizz and enhances shine." This helps my hair not look like a mess because the wave in my hair just turns to messy frizz when it's dry. With the oil and gel before I dry it, it helps keep it under control and turns more to curls instead of waves and frizz.

I don't know if you have a problem with frizz. My hair is pretty wavy when I don't put anything on it, but if I use Frizz-ease it makes it so much better.

The products are not too expensive, I think. Most run about $6 and go up from there, and totally worth the price. A little goes a long way for me. I can make a bottle of mousse last me a couple of months, unlike the cheap stuff.
