Hi there.
I am that girl. Every time I go outdoors, I wear pony tail (w/c makes my face appear rounder). That has been my routine for many, many years. As you might be thinking right now, yes, that's 100% boring. Not to mention sad.
But I can't help it. I tried to relaxing once yet I don't think I can manage to pay that high all my life.
WOULD YOU RATHER SUGGEST STRAIGHTENING IRON, THINNING SCISSORS, A TRIED-AND TESTED HAIRSTYLE OR ANY OTHER RELIABLE OPTION YOU KNOW?
Please help me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
What can be done to the very thick %26amp; wavy hair of a round-faced girl?
I have three times as much hair than any human should have and mine is very wavy, oval face tho. Thinning it doesn't help, tends to make thing worse. Personally the only thing i found to solve the big hair thing is to keeping it long and no layers, layers makes it bigger to. I do once in a while straighten it, looks really pretty but takes a long time to do...Its ponytails or a bun my personal favorite to tame the beast...To make it look not so big, i pull up the sides and put it in a barrette and i let the mane flow...It helps me see while im driving, walking ya know the hair blocks your side view LOL...My sister is worse, she did try the chemical straightening and half her hair fell out, I'm to chicken to try it...

I am pretty much that girl too. I used to wear my hair in a ponytail every single day. However since I got It cut last my hair has been amazing.
Go to a good hairdressers and try my haircut -
Medium length with shorter layers. Have it thinned loads and side or full fringe and feathered around the face.
Invest in some good straighteners - ghd are good but there are loads others that are just as good and cheaper
I have these - BaByliss Pro 230 Elegance Straightener
They work really well fro me.
Also there are loads of products around but it's hard to suggest one because everyones hair will react differently
Hope this helps x

I have lots of ideas
-Straightening iron
I think you should invest in a straightening iron. GHD's are the best although they are expensive they are worth it in the long run. Make sure you use heat protectant to stop your hair becoming dry and damaged.
-A medium to long length
Keep your hair all one length no layers it will give your hair alot of unwanted volume
-Layers around your face
These will soften your face and make your face look less round.
- A fringe
Either a long side fringe or long normal fringe not short. This will also help reduce the roundness.
I know you dislike wearing your hair out but once you have straightened it, it will not look messy. Also when you wear your hair in a ponytail you should leave your fringe out which will reduce roundness.
Good Luck
If you have anymore questions dont hesitate to ask.

I think straightening may worsen the situation...
Round Face Shapes
Your goal is to create less volume around the face. You also want to minimize the appearance of roundness.
Styles that are flattering and stylish:
Try cuts that fall just below the chin. Soft, graduated layers are a great bet because they make your face appear slimmer and tend to remove bulk and weight from the sides. Consider wispy and tapered ends. These de-emphasize the roundness of your face. Bangs are flattering, but keep them long or sideswept.
Avoid: One-length, blunt cuts if you have short hair. Curly, short hair is also a no-no. These only emphasize your roundness.
